With Brandy Kidd and Misti Oxford-Pickeral
Dates: July 17 - 19
Registration Deadline: June 19
Suitability
This is a Mindful Living Path Retreat and is appropriate for those FCM members who have participated in FCM's recent Emotional Awareness – Foundations for Healing Intensive Pt.1 (Feb.-May 2026) OR any Emotional Healing intensives in the past. If you do not meet those requirements, and you still want to be considered for admission into this retreat, please contact the Retreat Leader (Brandy Kidd at brandymkidd@gmail.com) prior to your application for registration.

Description
This retreat will offer participants the rich opportunity to practice the foundations of mindfulness that are conducive to emotional awareness and healing – without the distractions of everyday life. The retreat will also explore ways to recognize emotional patterns that take us away from our capacity to be steady and grounded in the present moment, with a mind
that is loving and compassionate.
While not strictly limited to Intensive participants, it will also offer current Intensive members the opportunity to create a collective energy of mindfulness together in person, bringing us together after many Zoom meetings.
This will be a silent retreat. The silence affords us the opportunity to deepen our meditative experience while absorbing the experiential meaning of the teachings and practices presented.

The teachings are offered in the Buddhist tradition of Dana, wherein the teachers freely give of themselves to the students out of gratitude for what they’ve received from their teachers and a desire to be of service. The student’s response is also based on Dana, i.e. generosity that naturally flows from a sense of appreciation of the value of Dharma and gratitude to the living lineage. All retreat dana for this retreat will go towards supporting future programs at the FCM center.
