About | Leadership Council
The Leadership Council is composed of the Dharma Teacher, Fred Eppsteiner, and the Area Leaders of each of the five main circular areas that radiate from the center of the mandala. These five circles represent the various areas of service within the community, and there are many leaders and selfless service volunteers that work within each of these areas, as shown in the attached document. Our Dharma Teacher, Fred Eppsteinerer (teacher@floridamindfulness.org), is the spiritual guide for FCM, providing leadership and support for FCM's mission, values, and goals. Our Dharma Programs Leader, Angie Parrish (dharmaprograms@floridamindfulness.org), is responsible for oversight of all Dharma programs including meditation, classes, Intensives, Days of Mindfulness, retreats, and more. Our Communication Leader, Carol Green (communications@floridamindfulness.org), is responsible for communications, technology, training, and community outreach for FCM.
Our Community Care Leader, Maria Teresa Jaureguizar (community@floridamindfulness.org), is responsible for overseeing programs that support our vibrant FCM community, such as Membership, Care and Support, Social Activities, Death & Dying, and Spiritual Friends groups. Our Facilities Leader, Bill Mac Millen (facilities@floridamindfulness.org), is in charge of the safety and maintenance of FCM’s Tampa Practice Center, including grounds and gardens, facilities, kitchen, housekeeping , selfless service and our Residential Caretaking Program.
Our Tampa Center Caretaker is David Braasch (caretaker@floridamindfulness.org). Our Operations Leader, Ray-lyn Barnett (operations@floridamindfulness.org), and Office Manager, Liz Stepp (officemanager@floridamindfulness.org), are responsible for financial reporting, risk management, and compliance for FCM. Many hands are needed to help in each of these areas, so please visit our Selfless Service page to learn more about how you might both give and receive in providing selfless service with FCM. |
