Leaving Stress Behind: A Mindful Approach to Living in Ease
Half-day Workshop, offered at Tampa Practice Center. Suggested workshop donation: $35 ($40 for CEUs)
Many of us move through our lives thinking and worrying about things that haven’t happened and that probably never will. Thoughts of losing a job, a loved one, our health, our status, or more – all have the power to hijack our happiness by creating fear and taking us out of the miracle of simply living in the present moment. Our time on this planet is short, perhaps 80 or 90 years in a span of many billions of years in the universe. Less than a blink of an eye, yet we find ourselves spending too much of this time living in worry and stress. Wouldn’t you rather spend this precious time living in joy and ease?
In this workshop we will
- Look at the difference between stress and pressure,
- Understand the harmful physiological effects of long-term stress, and
- Discover how we can use mindfulness to clearly see and understand the underlying causes of stress, change habits, and stop being swept away by the variances of life.
This class is approved for 3 CEUs.
