An afternoon of fun and playful mindfulness activities for children (preschool - elementary) and their grownups was held on Saturday, September 14 at FCM's Tampa Center. The afternoon began with playful yoga and qigong exercises, as seen in the photo above. The kids (and their grownups!) then participated in a guided “pebble meditation” for feeling fresh, solid, calm and free. Each child and grownup made a cloth bag for their meditation pebbles and discussed how to use the pebble meditation at home. The afternoon ended with the group singing “Breathing In, Breathing Out” and other Plum Village songs.
