There’s a mean, judgmental voice in our head that never shuts up. It’s the Inner Critic, our worst nightmare playing day and night creating stress, worry, anxiety and confusion. The good news is that with mindfulness we can identify and inquire into these destructive thoughts so they lose their power to cause suffering, so that we can really find peace in ourselves and in the world.
Learning Objectives
- Participants will learn the definition of “mindfulness”.
- Participants will experience mindfulness from the inside through guided meditations.
- Participants will practice mindfulness techniques that enable us to identify and inquire into the nature of self-critical thoughts so they lose their ability to
cause harm to self and/or others.
