Wake Up Tampa Bay, a mindfulness and meditation group for people in their 20's and 30s will be hosting "A Day of Being" on Saturday, April 29th from 10:00am-3:00pm. Anyone in their 20s and 30s who would like to practice the art of simply being alive is invited to join us.
We will spend the day doing simple activities to help us cultivate the ability to enjoy life just as it is. We will begin the day in silence as we spend some time with our breath in the meditation hall and enjoy walking outside in the garden. That will be followed with a discussion about how we can bring the practice of mindfulness into our daily lives.
We will enjoy connecting with each other during a VEGAN potluck lunch after which we will take time to rest and stretch our bodies with a deep relaxation and some mindful yoga. We will end the day with a guided meditation and a sharing circle.
Please register for this event so we know how many people to plan for. Also, please indicate what type of dish you will be bringing for the vegan potluck. There is no charge for the day, but donations to the Florida Community of Mindfulness are welcomed and encouraged.
