The FCM Mindful Teen Program supports mindfulness practitioners in their teen years who, inspired by the teachings of Zen master and peace activist Thich Nhat Hahn, aspire to cultivate mindfulness and compassion in their lives. The Teen Program typically meets on Sunday afternoons following Sangha from 12:15-1:45 pm, twice a month at the Tampa Practice Center. Please check the FCM monthly calendar for dates and times. In the spirit of inter-being and inclusiveness, we honor the diverse spiritual/cultural roots and religious traditions of our teens.
Schedule: 12:15-12:30 pm.
Registration* and Sign In. You are welcome to bring a brown bag vegetarian lunch to eat prior to the start of the session - no tree nuts or peanuts please. 12:30-1:45 pm.

*Parents/Guardians: We require a signed parent/guardian registration form for teen participation each school year. Please download a registration form, read, sign and have your teen hand it to the program leader when they arrive, or if you will be bringing your teen to the program you can sign paperwork at that time. Please also discuss any allergies, medical alerts, or special needs with the Teen Program Coordinator to make sure we are empowered to create a safe space for all attendees.
