The Day will involve sitting and walking mindfulness meditation, guided meditations, a Dharma teaching by a senior practitioner, an opportunity for questions and answers, silent lunch, some lazy time, and gentle yoga.
No experience or preparation is necessary. However, you may find it helpful to read ‘The Miracle of Mindfulness’ by Thich Nhat Hanh.
Participants are requested to please respect and appreciate noble silence during the duration of the formal activities of the day. An opportunity for sharing and mindful conversation will be provided towards the end of the day.
For your own benefit and the benefit of all, we ask that you plan to remain for the entire day.
While this event is free and open to all practitioners, it is necessary to register in advance. Your generosity in providing a donation or Dana for the support of the use of the space is encouraged.
