A Day of Being (20s and 30s)

Wake Up Tampa Bay,  a mindfulness and meditation group for people in their 20's and 30s will be hosting "A Day of Being" on Saturday, October 5th from 10:00am-3:00pm.  Anyone in their 20s and 30s who would like to practice the art of simply being alive is invited to join us. 


We will spend the day doing simple activities to help us cultivate the ability to enjoy life just as it is.   We will begin the day in silence as we spend some time with our breath in the meditation hall, enjoy walking outside in the garden, and stretching our bodies out with some easy, mindful yoga, followed by a guided deep relaxation.


Then we will enjoy each others' company with a VEGAN potluck lunch followed by a discussion about how we can bring the practice of mindfulness into our daily lives.  


Please register for this event so we know how many people to plan for.  Also, please indicate what type of dish you will be bringing for the vegan potluck. There is no charge for the day, but donations to the Florida Community of Mindfulness for allowing us to use their space for this event is welcome.

*All Wake Up Tampa Bay events are alcohol, drug, and animal product  free.  Everyone in their 20s and 30s are welcome, but we ask that all who come do so with a clear mind and an open heart.  Please leave cynicism and offensive speech at the door, and if you are intoxicated, we ask that you wait for another time to join us.
