This workshop is a unique opportunity to observe an Ikebana Headmaster at work, and to experience the contemplative aspects of Ikebana. Ikebana Headmaster Dr. Ric Bansho Carrasco will demonstrate 3 introductory Ikebana designs explaining the corresponding rules and meaning of each. Participants will then have the opportunity to create a design called Moribana, depicting a reflective pond. Dr. Ric Bansho will give feedback to each participant while the entire group listens and learns about the creation of these forms.
We will email you a list of materials and tools to bring.
