Join Katie Loncke, Co-Director of the Buddhist Peace Fellowship, on Friday, March 6 at 7 pm at the FCM Center in Tampa for a conversation about Engaged Buddhism. Katie will tell us about the climate justice work of the Buddhist Peace Fellowship and the Greenpeace Action Camp she just attended in Florida. She’ll share her own journey as a Dharma practitioner and an activist. We’ll discuss the place of compassion and mindfulness in climate action, and what engaged Buddhism means for each of us.
This event is co-sponsored by the Buddhist Peace Fellowship and the Buddhist Climate Action Network. The event is free and all are welcome. No registration is required.
