FCM’s “Family Program” for children and teens is offered the first Sunday of each month from 10 am to noon, providing young people with an opportunity to practice gentle meditation and other fun activities in an environment of mindfulness and loving-kindness. We take inspiration for our Family Program from the teachings of Thich Nhat Hanh and the Plum Village tradition, with activities including mindfulness practice, art, music and movement.
There is no charge for participation, although dana is greatly appreciated and will help us cover the modest costs of the program. We ask that you register here before coming for the first time. For children ages 5 and younger, we ask that an adult participate with them in the Education Building. Parents of older children are welcome to join their children or practice in the Meditation Hall.
Please print, complete, and bring the attached Registration Form the first time you bring your child to the FCM Family Program.
