Mindful Relationships: Breaking Free of the Past

Emotional ups and downs are part of everyday life. It doesn’t matter if we’re at work or on vacation, our emotions fluctuate moment to moment, making it difficult to maintain peace, harmony and happiness in our relationships. This workshop will enable participants to understand what is happening when things go wrong in interpersonal relationships and how to regain emotional well-being so we do no harm to ourselves or others and move forward with calm, ease and harmony. Ways of strengthening positive mind states will also be presented.

Participants will:
  • Review research on the effect mindfulness has on improving relationships
  • Understand the cause of emotional ups and downs and the harm they bring to relationships
  • Learn 3 mindfulness practices to recognize, calm and release distressed mind states and restore emotional balance, harmony and well-being
  • Learn how to use these same mindfulness practices to nurture well-being and connection
